Toshiba 40RV525U: Awesome, when it works...

We have a Toshiba 40RV525U flat panel television that's nine months old. For six of these months it's had some issues. We had it repaired a few months ago, it still has the same issue.

I'm keeping track of it all here, just so if someone needs to refer to evidence, they can.

I've had nearly the exact same problem, sporadicly, with my similar model. Does this do it for you all the time? I've found that a power cycle generally puts it right; worst case scenario, "hard" power cycle (remove plug from socket, wait 10 sec, plug back in).

It's only happened to me a couple of times, though; hasn't occurred recently.

Have it sent in for repair before your warranty runs out. :)

It doesn't do it all the time, maybe once every few days.

I bought it at Costco, so I have the 2-year extended warranty automatically.

I'll keep an eye on it and see if it acts up - it did it a few times when I first got it, and then it hasn't done it again for a very long time. So, not really sure. Odd that it's exactly the same problem, though.
